Structural Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed structural designs and models using BIM software (Revit) for various projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural design elements into overall building designs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project specifications throughout the design process.
• Perform clash detection, model coordination, and resolve design conflicts in collaboration with other disciplines.
• Generate accurate quantity takeoffs and assist in the preparation of construction documents.
• Support the implementation of BIM methodologies and best practices within the company.
• Participate in meetings, presentations, and discussions to communicate project progress and findings effectively.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 8-10 years of experience in structural design and modeling using BIM software.
• Proficiency in BIM tools (Revit).
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and coordinating design efforts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
