Industrial Complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

To ensure that all products and processes meet Alfanar's quality assurance standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations throughout the product lifecycle. This involves overseeing compliance efforts, managing risk, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Accountability Areas

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Responsible for ensuring the quality assurance process is compliant with Alfanar Standards.
  • Ensure alignment with Alfanar Standard quality assurance requirements for suppliers and customers.

Documentation & Certification:

  • Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation for product compliance, including test reports, declarations of conformity, and technical files.
  • Liaise with third-party certification bodies as needed.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential compliance risks throughout the product lifecycle and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Oversee and coordinate product testing to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Work closely with internal and external laboratories to validate test results.

 Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, manufacturing, and legal teams to integrate compliance requirements into product development and manufacturing processes.

Training & Guidance:

  • Provide compliance training and guidance to internal teams, ensuring all stakeholders understand and adhere to regulatory requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Lead initiatives to continuously improve compliance processes and systems within the organization.

Quality Improvement & Reliability

  • Define, monitor, and drive the Quality Improvement Plan (Quality & Reliability).

Control Plan & Prototype Management:

  • Define prototype, pre-serial, and serial control plans.
  • Ensure "Build in Quality" standards are followed, using SPPC tracking sheets and ensuring the SPPC identification procedure is respected.
  • Ensure SPPC transfer to suppliers is completed.

Lesson Learned & Risk Reduction:

  • Verify that LLCs (Lesson Learned Cards) have been used in the Design/Process FMEA to reduce RPN and ensure compliance.

Design Review Participation:

  • Participate in design reviews, including reviews with suppliers, to ensure quality and compliance.

Initial Sample Validation:

  • Prepare the internal Initial Sample file for validation before presenting the Initial Sample file to the customer for sign-off.

4M Matrix Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to the 4M matrix with regard to product or process changes, ensuring customer awareness and approval of changes in accordance with the matrix.
  • Update quality documents following any product or process-related changes.

  • Ability to recruit, recognize and cultivate high performers and expose them in order to create a robust second line of management.
  • Ability to recognize low performers and guide them to improve or release them.
  • Ability to treat subordinates equally without any discrimination.
  • Assessment criteria of subordinates is performance that leads to planned results.
  • Ensure availability of delegation of authority matrix to have sufficient delegations as per company policy.

  • Provide periodic work progress reports.
  • Responsible for monitoring and controlling budgets and expenses to achieve the optimum cost efficiency.

Organizational Development:

  • Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
  • Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deployment.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
  • Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
  • Promote the automated systems and using them fully, to spread its culture.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
