Industrial Complex, Riyadh
The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.
Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.
The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.
Job Purpose
To ensure the quality, functionality, and safety of substation equipment, circuit breakers (CB), and other electrical components through rigorous testing, inspection, and troubleshooting. This includes identifying and addressing any issues or malfunctions promptly, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and driving improvements in quality management processes.
Key Accountability Areas
Testing & Inspection:
- Conduct tests and inspections on substation equipment, circuit breakers (CB), and other electrical components to ensure functionality and safety.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during routine testing of CBs, and inform the vendor to prevent future occurrences.
- Ensure readiness of the breakers before customer inspections.
Issue Identification & Reporting:
- Identify, document, and report any issues or malfunctions promptly to support operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Recommend solutions for non-conforming materials through designated channels.
- Manage customer returns, protection, and feedback through quality problem-solving methodologies.
Training & Support:
- Provide necessary training and input to workmen on new products to ensure maximum quality output.
- Provide customer, supplier, and operational support on quality and product-related planning to maintain quality standards per customer and company requirements.
Customer Inspections & Compliance:
- Responsible for export and domestic customer inspections.
- Submit compliance documents and incorporate any necessary changes suggested by the customer during inspections, ensuring these changes are reflected in the breaker before dispatch.
Quality Management & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with management requirements, initiatives, and procedures by supporting and operating controls in day-to-day duties.
- Monitor risk-management procedures and use problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development teams.
Complaint & Inspection Procedures:
- Develop or update company complaint and inspection procedures to ensure proper capture, investigation, and documentation.
- Perform quality reviews of catalyst design-FMEA to ensure compliance with customer requirements, specifications, and quality records.
Quality Performance Monitoring & Improvement:
- Monitor and drive improvements for key quality performance indicators (KPIs), including analysis and reporting.
- Participate in project meetings and ensure the project team applies problem-solving methodologies.
Product/Process Changes & Documentation:
- Ensure the 4M matrix is respected with regard to product or process changes and ensure customer awareness and approval of these changes.
- Update quality documents following any product or process-related changes.
- Perform revisions of the control plan after an issue or test results

- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
