Tendering Engineer, EV Chargers | alfanar Electric

Job Purpose

Support the smooth flow of sales inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate provision of quotations. Coordinate different project activities, contribute to the efficient execution of tasks, and promote a cohesive environment that supports overall project success.

Key Accountability Areas

Tender Preparation & Submission

  • Analyze tender documents, including technical specifications, drawings, and commercial terms.

  • Prepare technical and financial proposals for EV charger projects.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, ISO, OCPP, SASO) and client requirements.

  • Work closely with sales and technical teams to develop competitive bids.

  • Submit tender documents within deadlines and ensure proper documentation.

Cost Estimation & Budgeting

  • Perform cost analysis and estimation for EV charging & EV Charging infrastructure projects.

  • Coordinate with procurement and manufacturing to get pricing for chargers and installation materials.

  • Identify cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and performance standards.

Coordination & Communication

  • Collaborate with sales departments, product marketing, and project management teams.

  • Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when necessary.

Risk Assessment & Bid Strategy

  • Identify potential risks associated with EV charger tenders and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure tenders align with market trends, sustainability goals, and future technology developments.

  • Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job

Delivery:

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

  • Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

Work Experience

4 to 6 Years
