About the Job:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) principles and workflows, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the successful implementation and coordination of BIM across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:
- Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) in accordance with project requirements and industry best practices.
- Establish and maintain BIM standards, guidelines, and templates within the company.
- Coordinate BIM models across disciplines (architecture, structural, MEP, etc.) to ensure clash detection and interoperability.
- Conduct regular model reviews and quality control checks to identify and resolve issues.
- Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
- Assist in the development and implementation of BIM-related technologies and processes.
- Collaborate with project managers and design teams to ensure BIM deliverables meet project objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest BIM software, technologies, and industry standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM coordination or related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in MEP Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, ACC and BIM 360.
- Strong understanding of BIM methodologies, workflows, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with clash detection and resolution.
- Knowledge of construction documentation and industry standards.
- Experience with virtual design and construction (VDC) methodologies is a plus.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.
