Electrical Modeler

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Modeler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate electrical system models and drawings for various building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. You will collaborate closely with engineers and architects to develop high-quality electrical designs that meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:

• Drafting/Modeling accurate and detailed electrical drawings, including 2D and 3D models of electrical layouts, cable trays, conduits, lighting, power distribution, and panel schedules using BIM software (Revit).
• Ensuring all electrical designs comply with project specifications, industry standards, and local/international electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE, or BS standards).
• Utilizing the latest electrical drafting tools and techniques to improve design efficiency and documentation accuracy.
• Coordinating electrical models with mechanical, plumbing, and structural systems to ensure seamless integration across disciplines.
• Meeting project deadlines by executing electrical modeling tasks within allocated timeframes while maintaining high-quality output.
• Staying updated on emerging electrical technologies, materials, and industry trends to enhance design efficiency and innovation.
• Ensuring all electrical drawings adhere to established quality control procedures and comply with the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Assisting senior electrical engineers and designers in design reviews, model coordination, and resolving technical challenges.

Knowledge and Functional Competencies:

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and low-voltage (LV) systems.
• Experience in designing and modeling electrical panels, cable trays, conduits, and circuit layouts.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
