HVAC Draftsman

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Draftsman to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate HVAC system designs for various building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Working closely with engineers and architects, you will contribute to the development of high-quality HVAC systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:

• Drafting/Modeling accurate and detailed HVAC drawings, including 2D and 3D models of ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts using BIM software (Revit).
• Adhering to HVAC drafting guidelines, procedures, and best practices to ensure precision and efficiency.
• Utilizing the latest HVAC drafting tools and techniques, employing current software and methodologies for efficient and accurate design and documentation.
• Meeting project deadlines and milestones by executing HVAC drafting tasks within allocated timelines while maintaining high-quality output.
• Staying updated on HVAC codes, standards, materials, and technologies to ensure compliance and innovation.
• Ensuring all HVAC drawings and documentation adhere to established quality control procedures and comply with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
• Supporting senior HVAC designers by assisting with design reviews, model coordination, and problem-solving.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required. 

Knowledge and Functional Competencies:

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and ventilation layouts.
• Experience in the design and selection of HVAC equipment such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and exhaust systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
