Risk Engineer

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking RIS (Remote Inspection Systems / Railway Infrastructure Systems / Roadway Intelligent Systems — depending on your scope) Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, integration, and optimization of intelligent systems that enhance infrastructure performance, safety, and operational efficiency.

You will play a key role in delivering advanced engineering solutions, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, and supporting the implementation of cutting-edge technologies within large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of RIS solutions across infrastructure projects from concept to IFC stage
•  Prepare and review detailed engineering documents including system architecture diagrams, layouts, interface designs, and technical specifications.
• Ensure full compliance with international standards, client specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, telecom, civil, and IT to ensure seamless system integration.
• Review vendor submissions, technical proposals, and shop drawings to ensure alignment with project scope.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of RIS systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, smart systems, and digital transformation trends in infrastructure.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in RIS / intelligent systems / infrastructure technologies.
• Strong experience in system integration, design, and implementation within large-scale projects.
• Solid understanding of communication systems, control systems, and smart infrastructure technologies.
• Experience working on infrastructure projects such as transportation, smart cities, or utilities is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with international standards and codes.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage technical challenges and deliver solutions efficiently.  

Language Proficiency Requirements:

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.
• Additional proficiency in [Specify other relevant language(s)] is a plus.

Knowledge and Functional Competencies:

• Strong understanding of system architecture, networking, and data integration.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
