DESIGN ENGINEER, ELECTRCIAL (FRESH ENGINEERS, LAHORE PAKISTAN)

Job Purpose

To implement and execute Electrical engineering design with the assistance of Designers for T&D projects.

Key Accountability Areas

Design & Development:

• Helps designers maintain a proactive attitude, display a capability in research, design, innovation, and learning.
• Ensure that the design analysis and calculations are according to project requirements.
• Ensure compliance to QAQC standards in all aspects of project execution and workflow.
• Ensure smooth coordination with designers, interdisciplinary engineers, contractors, end client, partners, and suppliers. Ability to meet and communicate with clients in a professional and beneficial manner, coordinate meeting minutes for the project team.
• Supports Lead/Sr. Engineer in designing, detailing, scheduling, specifying, and preparing presentations, diagrams, 3D visuals, reports, and printing.

Project Management:

• Supports Lead/Sr. Engineer in managing project deliverables of the assigned project in a way to ensure completion in a profitable manner.
• Ensure that design changes and improvements are according to changing project demands.

HR Proficiency:

• Recognize low performers and guide them for learning and development or release them.
• Treat people equally without any discrimination.

• Ensure that the operational work should be as per the job description and the required deliverables from this position, taking into consideration the general company guidelines.
• Able to anticipate problems and make the necessary proactive steps to prevent them.

• Plans timely to deliver as per schedule. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of outputs. Anticipates any possible roadblocks that might come in the way of delivery and fixes them to meet timelines.
