SR.ENGINEER, TRANSMISSION LINE - PBU - DAR - AC

Job Description

• Good working knowledge on design of LV/ MV/ HV/ EHV cables/ transmission lines from concept design to construction drawings. Working knowledge on T&D functions w.r.t construction in coordination with other engineering disciplines.
• Working knowledge on preparation of following Transmission line design:

• Route plan
• Plan and Profile with spotted structures
• Sag and tension calculations
• Shielding & Earthing
• Be familiar with relevant codes & standards – International electro-technical commission (IEC), IEEE, BS (British Standards), Regional Standards, Quality and SEC standards etc.
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of design software – PLS CADD, SAG10, MicroStation, AutoCAD etc.

• Line crossings and line parameters calculations.
• Be familiar with relevant codes & standards – International electro-technical commission (IEC), IEEE, BS (British Standards), Regional Standards, Quality and SEC standards etc.
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of design software – PLS CADD, SAG10, MicroStation, AutoCAD etc.
• Excellent communication skills, both in presentation and documentation with a good command over English.
