Job Purpose

Manage developing and maintaining applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Develop Android
applications and the integration with back-end services. Meanwhile, working along-side other engineers and developers working
on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and
creating quality products.

Key Accountability Areas

Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code and ensure adherence to appropriate design, coding, and
cybersecurity standards.
• Design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch” to provide the most convenient application to
operate with.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Conduct and understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements to achieve
customer satisfaction.
• Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code.
Application Monitoring
• Perform continuous integration ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the
• Manage, track codes through code versioning tools, such as Git to protect the source code from any harm.
Application Development
• Manage RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Stay up-to-date and prepared with updates and trends in the Android and mobile development industry.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance to achieve customer

Role Accountability

  • Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
  • Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
  • Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.
  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
  • Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.
  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
  • Academic Qualification

    Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering
