Estimation Engineer (Aluminium & Metal Works)

Job Purpose

The Senior Estimator will independently lead the pricing, technical evaluation, and submission of proposals for aluminum and metal works, including complex facade systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and close coordination with the Saudi estimation and project teams

Key Accountability Areas

• Analyze tender documents including drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for aluminum and glazing systems (curtain walls, cladding, louvers, etc.).
• Evaluate material, labor, and equipment costs based on company standard.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Prepare cost breakdowns and pricing summaries in line with project scope and client expectations.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, and clarification sessions as needed.
• Assist in value engineering, alternative solutions, and cost-saving proposals.
• Coordinate with technical and design teams for system compatibility and constructability reviews.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals in compliance with client requirements.
• Update and maintain cost databases and historical data for future reference.
• Monitor post-tender clarifications and negotiations when required.
• Support handover to the operations team after project award.

Role Accountability

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software (logical software, ..)

• In-depth knowledge of aluminum systems and building envelopes.

• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tenders and work under pressure.
