Quantity Surveyor & Commercial Engineer

Job Purpose

A Quantity Surveyor & Commercial Engineer plays a pivotal role in administering contracts and managing variations in designs, specifications, and scope of work while ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions, ensuring cost control and managing project costs, ensuring financial efficiency, and contributing to the successful completion of projects within budgetary constraints. They combine technical knowledge, financial acumen, and strong communication skills to oversee the financial aspects of the projects from inception to completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• 4 to 6 years of technical experience.
• Proven experience in quantity surveying and commercial management within the Construction or Consultant industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction/client/consultant contracts, cost control, and procurement processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and negotiate contracts.
• Excellent communication skills and full professional fluency in English both written and oral.
