Industrial Complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

To coordinate day-to-day logistics activities, ensuring the timely and efficient movement of goods while complying with company procedures, contractual terms, and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on shipment scheduling, documentation, and communication between internal teams and external service providers to support operational efficiency.

Key Accountability Areas

Shipment Coordination

  • Arrange and follow up on inbound and outbound shipments with freight forwarders, carriers, and suppliers.
  • Confirm shipment schedules and ensure alignment with operational and customer requirements.
  • Track shipment progress and proactively address potential delays or disruptions.

Documentation and Compliance

  • Prepare, review, and maintain all required shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade agreements, and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records for audit and reporting purposes.

Communication and Liaison

  • Act as a point of contact between internal departments (procurement, sales, warehouse) and logistics providers.
  • Share timely shipment updates with relevant stakeholders.
  • Escalate shipment issues to the immediate supervisor for resolution.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Monitor logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, lead times, and freight cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit routine reports on logistics activities and performance trends.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and suggest improvements to logistics processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support the implementation of updated logistics tools, systems, or procedures.

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Diploma Degree in Business Administration or Any relevant field
