Job Purpose
Manage overall operational activities to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective execution of production, maintenance, quality, supply chain coordination, and resource utilization in line with business objectives, customer requirements, and company standards.
Key Accountability Areas
Operations Management
- Manage day-to-day operational activities to ensure smooth workflow across production, maintenance, quality, and related support functions.
- Ensure operational plans are executed in line with approved schedules, targets, and business priorities.
- Monitor operational performance and address issues affecting productivity, delivery, quality, cost, or safety.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure alignment between operations and business requirements.
Production & Delivery Performance
- Follow up on production progress to ensure output targets and delivery timelines are achieved.
- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and operational capacity.
- Support the resolution of operational bottlenecks, delays, and resource constraints.
- Monitor performance indicators related to productivity, efficiency, downtime, quality, safety, and cost.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure operations comply with quality standards, safety requirements, company procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure proper implementation of health and safety practices.
- Follow up on quality issues, non-conformities, and corrective actions with concerned teams.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, workplace discipline, and 5S practices across operational areas.
Resource & Cost Management
- Manage operational resources to achieve optimal utilization and cost efficiency.
- Monitor operational costs and support initiatives to reduce waste, rework, downtime, and unnecessary expenses.
- Support budget planning and ensure operational activities are managed within approved targets.
- Recommend actions to improve resource planning, manpower allocation, and operational efficiency.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, workflow, productivity, and service levels.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
- Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to improve operational reliability.
- Support the implementation of new systems, tools, and best practices across operations.
Team Management & Reporting
- Manage and guide operations teams to ensure effective performance and accountability.
- Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and support team development.
- Prepare operational reports, performance updates, and improvement recommendations for management.
- Communicate operational priorities, challenges, and progress to relevant stakeholders.

- Ability to recruit, recognize and cultivate high performers and expose them in order to create a robust second line of management.
- Ability to recognize low performers and guide them to improve or release them.
- Ability to treat subordinates equally without any discrimination.

- Monitor the plan performance and initiate action to strengthen results and take the corrective action accordingly.
- Provide periodic work progress reports.
- Responsible for monitoring and controlling budgets and expenses to achieve the optimum cost efficiency.
Organizational Development:
- Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
- Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deployment.
Business Process Improvements:
- Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
- Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
- Promote the automated systems and using them fully, to spread its culture.

Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Any relevant field
