Job Purpose

To lead the prescription and pre-qualification of wiring accessories for the hospitality sector, focusing on securing product specifications with designers, consultants, and hotel operators. The role ensures technical compliance, drives product approvals, and supports market positioning through strategic stakeholder engagement.

Key Accountability Areas

Pre-Qualification Management

  • Review and analyze specifications, tender documents, and client requirements.
  • Prepare and submit pre-qualification documents for products, systems, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.

Prescription & Technical Support

  • Develop and recommend technical prescriptions for materials, equipment, and solutions.
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and clients to achieve product acceptance and approval.
  • Provide guidance to internal teams on product specifications and technical submittals.

Documentation & Approvals

  • Maintain an updated database of approved products, suppliers, and certifications.
  • Track and follow up on approval status with consultants and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Participate in technical meetings, presentations, and workshops to promote company solutions.
  • Support sales and business development teams with technical expertise.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor approvals, and new technologies for business advantage.

Compliance Assurance: 

  • Ensuring that the company meets all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements necessary for prequalification.
  • Verifying compliance with industry standards, government regulations, environmental regulations, health and safety requirements, and ethical standards.

Role Accountability

  • Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

Delivery:

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

  • Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
