Job Purpose

Manage and coordinate prescription activities to support product specification in projects by overseeing technical alignment, guiding stakeholder engagement, and directing cross-functional collaboration. The role ensures disciplined execution of prescription processes, effective team performance, and consistent support to sales and customers to improve project conversion and satisfaction.

Key Accountability Areas

Customer and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Manage day-to-day engagement with customers, contractors, installers, and key project stakeholders
  • Ensure timely responses to technical and specification-related inquiries
  • Coordinate product presentations, technical clarifications, and support sessions as required
  • Maintain professional relationships to support ongoing project collaboration

Technical Support and Specification Management

  • Review project specifications to ensure alignment with product capabilities and standards
  • Provide technical clarifications and required documentation to customers and project teams
  • Coordinate with engineering and product teams to resolve technical queries and issues
  • Identify and escalate specification risks or deviations in a timely manner

Sales Coordination and Project Support

  • Support sales teams by providing specification inputs and technical guidance
  • Align prescription activities with project timelines and commercial priorities
  • Track and monitor prescription progress and update sales on key developments
  • Facilitate follow-ups to improve specification conversion rates

Process Management and Reporting

  • Enforce adherence to prescribed processes, policies, and internal guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records of engagements, project specifications, and outcomes
  • Analyze prescription performance indicators and recommend operational improvements
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on activities, challenges, and results

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with product, engineering, marketing, quality, and projects teams as required
  • Align prescription activities with project execution needs and operational constraints
  • Facilitate clear communication between customers, sales, and internal teams

Team Leadership and Supervision

  • Lead and supervise the Prescription team in daily activities
  • Assign responsibilities, monitor workload, and ensure timely task completion
  • Coach and develop team members to strengthen technical and communication capabilities
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer focus

  • Ability to recruit, recognize and cultivate high performers and expose them in order to create a robust second line of management.

  • Provide periodic work progress reports.
  • Responsible for monitoring and controlling budgets and expenses to achieve the optimum cost efficiency.

Organizational Development:

  • Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
  • Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deployment.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
  • Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
  • Promote the automated systems and using them fully, to spread its culture.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Any relevant field
