Job Purpose
Monitor financial resources and expenditures, ensuring that costs are controlled and aligned with budgetary constraints. Analyzing financial data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, implementing cost-effective measures, and providing recommendations to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Accountability Areas
Budget Management:
- Develop, monitor, and manage budgets for various departments.
- Analyze costs and expenses, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key cost-related insights.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between planned and actual costs.
Cost Control Measures:
- Implement cost control measures to ensure adherence to budgets.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to optimize costs and terms with suppliers.
Compliance and Process Improvement:
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance cost efficiency.
Communication and Support:
- Effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.
- Provide financial advice and insights to support decision-making.
Role Accountability
HR Proficiency:
- Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
- Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
- Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.
Delivery:
- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
Problem-Solving:
- Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
Quality:
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
Business Process Improvements:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.
Compliance:
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Safety:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
