   • Real estate development

   • Façade cladding, glazing systems and architectural aluminum products

Job Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Accountant within our real estate department. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly within the real estate sector.

Key Accountability Areas

  1. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, monitor accounts receivable, and handle vendor payments in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconcile accounts as needed.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with senior accountants to assist in budget preparation and forecasting for real estate projects. Monitor budget performance and provide regular reports to management.
  3. General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and classified. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
  4. Real Estate Tax & VAT Compliance: Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities, including gathering financial data and supporting documentation for tax filings.
  5. Follow up customer collection for real estate projects (Iskan)
  6. Preparing reports for WAFI.
  7. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Prepare ad hoc reports and presentations for management as required.

Role Accountability

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the real estate industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and accounting software (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Power Point).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
