Industrial Complex, Riyadh
The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.
Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.
The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.
Job Purpose
BIM (Building Information Modelling) Manager. To manage the BIM team and to deliver project information model to clients.
Key Accountability
1- DATA collection.
- Project Stakeholders and Scope-of-Work.
- Project contract\Proposal “BIM scope of work, BIM uses, targets, project LOD, project phases, and the required BIM dimensions”.
- BIM implementation process on the project.
- Project Description, brief, Master plan, buildings’ classifications, Built-Up-Area “.
- The received Documents “project drawings, documents, and/or Revit models”.
- Used Software, and its versions “Revit, Navisworks, required add-ins, tools and dynamo scripts”.
- Project Folders “project path on server, mapped drive letter, folder customization, access permission.
- Model Separation and linking Scenario.
- Project time schedule and milestones “Model Submittals, Squad Checks, Coordination zoning, Model Audit, In-Line Review and clash test reports
- Drafting System “The Modeling, Drafting, Presentation System, and naming convention”.
- Quality Control Checks “Pinfo, In-Line Review, Audit Checklist, and Clash tests
- Project Key plan “Master plan, and partial plans”. Prepare the Project BIM Execution Plan “Project BEP
- BIM Kick-Off-meeting “date and time to illustrate the project BEP”.
2- STAFF ORIENTATION: Conduct Refreshment sessions for requested BIM topics, Illustrate the Project Workflows, Illustrate the project Exchange of Data matrix and discuss it with the PM.
3- SUPPORT PROJECT STAFF: Support project teams in BIM project setup (Templates, Central and Local files, Copy/Monitor…etc.). Monitor the work sets.
4- BIM COORDINATION PROCESS: Prepare the Coordination sections in coordination with all project team leaders. Manage the coordinated digital documents (Navisworks files). Facilitate use of composite design models in design coordination/clash detection meetings and provides clash detection reports for the project team.
5- PROJECT SUBMISSION: Assures that the BIM deliverables specified in the contract are provided in accordance with BIM standard. Validate the project model for submittal. Perform a final check on the Models clashes.
