Business Intelligence and Analytics Lead

Job Purpose

This position exist to take manage Business Intelligence function. Plan, develop ,execute and monitor its activities and related systems by optimum resources at efficient cost. Deliver as per company quality standards. Manage the risks and opportunities to bring the department to a further step.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Provides vision and strategy for the data management in alfanar
  • Oversee  group data management, governance, quality, and vendor relationships across the enterprise. 
  • Oversee the enterprise information management, data scientists and data stewards, and data service providers
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to organize and implement policies, procedures, structures, roles, and responsibilities that outline and enforce rules of engagement, decision rights, and the accountabilities for the effective management of information assets
  • Determine current data quality and maturity levels and develop roadmap for improvements
  • Establish data enterprise standards – including a uniform and repeatable system development lifecycle methodology
  • Develop Master Data Management (MDM) architecture and identify tools to implement how to capture, integrate, and share that MDM information
  • Account all data structures within alfanar 
  • Ensure appropriate design in place for single customer master data for all stakeholders
  • Implement proper data analytics to identify and, hopefully, reduce pain points at all stages of the business process, increasing company profit and customer satisfaction 
  • Identify key reports including digital boardroom 
  • Develop BI self-service model 
  • Ensure implementation of specific security and privacy requirements inline with privacy laws, industry regulations, and alfanar corporate compliance mandates
  • Implement data privacy policies and complying with data protection regulations
  • Develop data management system that facilitates the secure collection and processing of data

  • Provide periodic work progress reports.
  • Responsible for monitoring and control budgets and expenses to achieve the optimum cost efficiency.  
  • Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans. 
  • Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deploy them.
  • Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.  
  • Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
  • Promote the automated systems and using them fully, to spread its culture.

Qualification

Bachelor in Information Mgmt. Sciences & Systems
