• Façade cladding, glazing systems and architectural aluminum products

Job Purpose
Leads the purchase department, managing a team to acquire goods/services efficiently and cost-effectively. Drive process improvements, foster team performance, and align with company objectives.
Key Accountability Areas
Material Planning & Requirement Analysis:
- Review technical specifications, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and drawings to determine material requirements for current and future projects.
Supplier & Subcontractor Management:
- Source, assess, and prequalify suppliers and subcontractors based on cost, quality, lead time, and compliance with project needs.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure long-term reliability and value.
RFQ & Negotiation:
- Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs).
- Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate both commercial and technical terms to secure the best value.
Purchase Order Management:
- Prepare and issue accurate Purchase Orders (POs) with agreed terms, prices, and delivery dates.
- Ensure POs align with project requirements and contractual obligations.
Coordination with Internal Teams:
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and site teams to synchronize procurement with project timelines and milestones.
Order Tracking & Delivery Management:
- Monitor and expedite material deliveries to prevent delays.
- Resolve any issues related to late delivery, non-compliance, quality concerns, or incomplete documentation.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain complete and accurate records of vendors, quotations, POs, and other procurement-related documents.
- Ensure procurement practices comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and relevant regulations (local/international).
Cost Optimization & Value Engineering:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend alternate materials or vendors.
- Support value engineering efforts to enhance efficiency and reduce overall project costs.

- Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
- Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deployment.
Business Process Improvements:
- Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
- Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
