Job Purpose

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and automation tools that support the software development lifecycle. Involving close collaboration with development, QC, and IT operations teams to streamline deployment processes, ensure system reliability, and enhance scalability and performance in cloud and on-premise environments.

Key Accountability Areas

CI/CD Pipeline Management:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.

Infrastructure Monitoring & Maintenance:

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Containerization & Orchestration:

  • Implement and manage containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, ECS).

System Automation:

  • Automate system configurations, deployments, and scaling using configuration management tools (Ansible, etc.).

Security & Compliance:

  • Maintain and improve system security, compliance, and backup strategies.

Collaboration with Development Teams:

  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications for performance, scalability, and resilience.

System Performance & Capacity Planning:

  • Conduct regular system performance testing, tuning, and capacity planning.

Documentation & Operational Excellence:

  • Document processes, procedures, and environments to ensure operational excellence.

Role Accountability

HR Proficiency:

  • Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

Delivery:

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

  • Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvement:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Any relevant field
