Job Purpose

To support the development, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability and environmental management initiatives, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and advancing the organization's commitment to sustainable practices. The role focuses on providing technical expertise, conducting assessments, and contributing to innovative solutions that minimize environmental impact while aligning with organizational goals.

Key Accountability Areas

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with team members and provide technical expertise to support sustainability and environmental protection programs.
  • Assist in setting and achieving team goals by contributing to project planning and execution.

Sustainability Innovation:

  • Research and propose innovative technologies, processes, or systems to enhance sustainability within the organization.
  • Support initiatives focused on renewable energy, waste reduction, green technologies, and other environmentally conscious practices.

Budget & Resource Support:

  • Assist in tracking project budgets and resource utilization to ensure efficient implementation of environmental and sustainability initiatives.
  • Identify resource needs and support procurement processes in alignment with project goals.

Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and environmental organizations, to support sustainability efforts.
  • Prepare technical reports and data for review by senior staff and stakeholders.

Sustainability Education & Awareness:

  • Support the development of training materials and assist in organizing sessions to educate employees on sustainability practices and compliance requirements.
  • Actively promote environmental responsibility and sustainability initiatives within the organization.

Environmental Risk Management:

  • Conduct assessments of potential environmental risks arising from company activities and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to the preparation of environmental impact assessments for new initiatives or projects.

Regulatory Compliance & Environmental Protection:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Support environmental audits and inspections to maintain regulatory compliance.

Sustainability Strategy Support:

  • Assist in implementing company-wide sustainability strategies to reduce environmental impacts, such as energy consumption, waste management, emissions, and water use.
  • Track and report on sustainability metrics and progress, contributing to internal and external disclosures.

  • Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Systems Analysis & Engineering or Any relevant field

Work Experience

4 to 6 Years
