ENGINEER, SITE ELECTRICAL

Job Purpose

The Electrical Site Engineer will oversee and manage all electrical works on-site for mixed-use building projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Accountability Areas

Project Execution:

• Supervise and monitor electrical installations, testing, and commissioning activities on-site.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations.

Coordination:

• Communicate with Mechanical and Civil engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate with MEP Subcontractors and LC system integrators for timely delivery of materials and services.

Quality & Safety:

• Implement quality control procedures for electrical works.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and conduct regular site inspections.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical work, inspections, and approvals.

Problem Solving:

• Identify and resolve technical challenges during execution.
• Provide solutions for design discrepancies and site constraints.

Technical Skills: 

• Strong knowledge of MV and LV power distribution and T&C.
• Strong Knowledge of Lighting and Lighting control installation and T&C.
• Stonge Knowledge of Data and Telecom system installation and T&C.
• Stonge Knowledge of Security and life safety system installation and T&C.
• Familiarity with international standards (SBC, IEC, NFPA) and local codes.
• Have good experience with engineering Software’s such: AutoCAD, MS Office and Revit or similar BIM tools.

• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
