Job Purpose
Conduct the technical and logistical aspects of precast concrete installations, helping to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality standards. Supporting the team, managing quality control tasks, coordinating procurement, and addressing technical challenges. Maintaining a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Accountability Areas
Streamlining Precast Concrete Installations:
- Collaborating with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to plan installation activities, establish timelines, identify resource needs, and coordinate tasks for smooth project execution.
Site Assessment and Preparation:
- Conducting site assessments to evaluate suitability for precast concrete, including soil, topography, and accessibility, and recommending site preparations as needed.
Technical Oversight and Compliance:
- Ensuring installations meet design specs, engineering standards, and regulations by reviewing drawings, overseeing fabrication, and monitoring installation processes for compliance.
Safety Management:
- Implementing and enforcing safety protocols, conducting training, and addressing safety concerns to protect workers and the public during installations.
Construction Oversight and Supervision:
- Supervising installation activities on-site, monitoring progress, and addressing challenges during the installation process.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Ensuring effective communication with contractors, suppliers, and authorities, providing project updates, coordinating activities, and resolving conflicts.
Problem Solving and Risk Management:
- Identifying potential challenges and risks, proposing solutions, and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintaining accurate records of installation activities, including progress reports, inspections, and deviations from plans, to track milestones and ensure regulatory compliance
