Job Purpose

Conduct and manage on-site activities for construction projects, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to support project execution, address challenges, and contribute to the implementation of best practices for efficient operations.

Key Accountability Areas

Site Management:

  • Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is carried out according to design specifications and project schedules.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and labor to maintain workflow and efficiency.

Technical Oversight:

  • Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to provide technical guidance to the construction team.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering principles and construction methods throughout the project.

Progress Monitoring:

  • Monitor project progress against the schedule, documenting any delays and recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare daily and weekly reports on site activities, progress, and resource utilization.

Communication:

  • Liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to communicate project status and address any concerns.
  • Facilitate effective communication among the construction team and external parties.

Problem Solving:

  • Identify and resolve issues that arise during the construction process, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
  • Propose solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Any relevant field
