Job Purpose
To support the Strategy Management Office (SMO) in the execution, monitoring, and documentation of the organization’s strategic plan by assisting with data collection, performance tracking, reporting, and cross-departmental coordination, ensuring effective alignment and progress toward strategic objectives.
Key Accountability Areas
Strategic Planning & Alignment:
- Assist in the preparation and updates of the organization’s strategic plan in coordination with SMO leadership.
- Support the scheduling and logistics of strategic planning workshops and departmental meetings.
- Help review departmental submissions for consistency with corporate objectives and flag any discrepancies.
Performance Monitoring:
- Support the implementation of performance tracking systems, including KPIs and scorecards.
- Collect and organize performance data for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Prepare initial performance summaries and assist in compiling inputs for review sessions.
Governance & Reporting:
- Follow established SMO governance processes and reporting guidelines.
- Help prepare periodic dashboards and reports under the direction of senior team members.
- Maintain organized records and documentation of plans, updates, and performance data.
Project & Initiative Oversight:
- Track the status of strategic initiatives and maintain updated timelines and status logs.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to gather updates on project progress and issues.
- Assist in preparing initiative briefs and feasibility assessments as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Support communication between SMO and other departments by coordinating meetings and collecting feedback.
- Assist in preparing presentations and strategy-related materials for internal stakeholders.
- Help maintain clear channels for strategic updates and initiative progress.
Continuous Improvement:
- Assist in researching tools, frameworks, or benchmarks that enhance SMO processes.
- Suggest incremental improvements in planning, monitoring, or reporting tools.
- Contribute to building awareness of strategic priorities within the organization.

- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

- Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
