FOREMAN, CIVIL

Job Purpose
Coordinate operations and oversee workers at civil construction sites, ensuring that the work is delivered safely on time and within budget along with managing equipment and materials required.
Key Accountability Areas
Site Execution:
- Work on the civil drawings.
- Organize and coordinate the daily civil activities of all workers, subcontractors, and equipment according to priorities of the plans and utilize corrective action to keep the project on time and within budget
- Submit daily report about the manpower & machinery.
- Communicate site civil engineers if any difficulties come which hinders the progress.
- Arrange for materials to be at the construction site and evaluate plans for each construction job.
- Understand job procedures for ordering tools and materials.

- Provide periodic work progress reports.
- Responsible for monitoring and controlling budgets and expenses to achieve the optimum cost efficiency.
Organizational Development:
- Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
- Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deployment.
Business Process Improvements:
- Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
- Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
- Promote the automated systems and using them fully, to spread its culture.
