Job Purpose
Overseeing and coordinating electrical construction activities, ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and functionality of electrical systems within the villas. Managing electrical teams, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring that electrical work meets project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Key Accountability Areas
Team Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and support electrical teams, including electricians and apprentices.
- Assign tasks based on skills and project needs for efficient workflow.
Project Coordination and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and trades to plan electrical work aligned with timelines.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders about project progress and resolve issues promptly.
Technical Expertise and Compliance:
- Interpret blueprints and specifications to define the scope of electrical work.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
Material and Budget Management:
- Coordinate procurement of electrical materials and ensure availability.
Inspection and Troubleshooting:
- Oversee testing and inspection of electrical systems for compliance.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, material usage, and inspections.
Role Accountability
HR Proficiency:
- Training subordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
- Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
- Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale and motivation of subordinates.
Delivery:
- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
Problem-Solving:
- Resolve any related problems that arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
Quality:
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
Business Process Improvements:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.
Compliance:
- Comply with related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Safety:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
