GUARD

Job Purpose

Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infraction of rules – Manage vehicles entry to factory premises and organize loading trucks movement – search all vehicles getting out and ask for gate passes for materials being brought out.

Key Accountability Areas

    Ensuring employees have identity verification and that unauthorized people cannot enter the workspace without guest passes or other credentials
    Performing security procedures
    Educating staff on proper security procedures and requirements
    Performing routine inspections of specific areas
    Communicating with local enforcement about any incidents and ensuring local and security compliance
    Be visible and observant at all times greeting staff and guests in a courteous and attentive manner
    Respond immediately to distress calls panic alarms and emergency calls for disorderly conduct disruptive persons and incidents swiftly and appropriately
    Maintain the companys reputation with professionalism and legal compliance
    Investigate and take the appropriate lawful action as authorized by the corporate policy on accidents incidents trespassing suspicious activities safety and fire incidents
    Guard access points permitting or refusing entry restraining trespassers and direct heavy traffic during start and end of business hours
    Complete daily reports including relevant information observations surveillance footage and signatures
    Secure all doors windows and exits depending on shift
    Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings to supervisors
    Complete reports by recording observations information and occurrences
    Protect and maintain confidential information
    Efficiency in monitoring Factory Vehicle Employees In  Out Materials
