Industrial Complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

Handle materials to support smooth production, making sure we have the right amount in stock, ordering them on time, and ensuring they meet quality standards.

Key Accountability Areas

Inventory Management:

  • Effectively manage inventory levels to align with production and warehouse capacity.
  • Enhance inventory turnover by minimizing stock levels and eliminating delivery delays.
  • Regularly update safety stock for all moving items.
  • Conduct material segmentation (ABC, XYZ, etc.) and establish material planning parameters.

Procurement and Logistics:

  • Issue purchase requests at the appropriate time.
  • Follow up with procurement and logistics for material delivery, promptly addressing any anticipated stock shortages for critical materials.
  • Ensure on-time delivery within budgetary limits and in accordance with quality standards.

Materials Planning and Coordination:

  • Assess materials availability for incoming orders/production plans.
  • Lead the action plan to reduce excess and obsolete materials in stock.
  • Oversee the phase-in/phase-out process for any materials.

Monitoring and Review:

  • Monitor and review achievements and deviations from pre-defined plans.
  • Continuously enhance processes and procedures.

Role Accountability

HR Proficiency:

  • Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
  • Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
  • Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.

Delivery:

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

  • Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Any relevant field
