Industrial Complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

This Position exists to perfrom Mechanical maintinance engineering activities efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Execute, technically support maintenance team to fix the unplanned machine breakdowns to return the machine back to production process in best case as soon as possible to achieve the monthly production plan. 
  • Schedule the Preventive maintenance plan and check lists, and make sure that the technicians are doing it.
  • Manage spare parts and search for new suppliers to reduce any breakdown time to minimum and reduce spare parts cost.
  • Arrange for contractors for AMC for certain equipment and  supervise them when they come & repair in house if possible
  • Troubleshoot the breakdowns and give the best solution.
  • Contact machine supplier for repairs and spare parts request
  • Understand hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
  • Organizing teams to make sure 24-hour cover is available 
  • Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management
  • Work within 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard
  • Plan and priorities workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time
  • Ensure all work is undertaken to a high quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations
  • Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making necessary recommendations.
  • Provide safe working environment for members of staff.

General Responsibilities

  • Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
  • Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
  • Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.
  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
  • Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.
  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
