Job Purpose
Develop and execute plans for transporting goods and ensure that deliveries arrive at the destination in a timely manner and in good condition.
Key Accountability Areas
Outbound Vehicles Planning:
- Analyze vehicle requirements according to Sales requirements.
- Properly plan vehicle routings optimizing vehicle capacity and destinations.
- To create shipment in SAP for dispatching vehicles.
- To follow up and resolve any discrepancies the drivers facing at the client sites while offloading delay / obtaining client acknowledgement in delivery note.
Transporters coordination:
- Coordinate with Transporters for vehicle arrangements.
- Follow with transporters for the timely submission of delivery notes.
- Collect invoices from Transporters’ bill processing/accounts.
- To create PR for transporter invoice and follow-up on the PO approvals.
POD Tracker Report and Discrepancies:
- Update POD tracker report and circulate to all concerned department/personnel.
- Highlight POD discrepancies to all concerned for further investigation and rectification.
- Assisting & reliever of inbound logistics.
- Prepare and archive all required records and documents.
- Circulate documents that must be published.
- Ensure implementation of management systems; adhere to quality, safety, and environmental policies.
