Industrial Complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

To develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation for medium-voltage switchgear and components, including manuals, catalogues, RCA reports, and bulletins. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and professionalism by capturing detailed procedures on-site and collaborating with engineering, operations, and customer teams to deliver industry-standard documentation.

Key Accountability Areas

Technical Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain product catalogs, operation and maintenance manuals, and installation guides for MV switchgear and components.
  • Ensure documentation complies with IEC standards, internal quality guidelines, and product specifications.
  • Produce detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports for failures, documenting issues, findings, and corrective actions.

Product Content Management

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the MV product portfolio to ensure all documentation reflects current designs.
  • Benchmark competitor offerings to highlight differentiators and provide input for marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Develop technical bulletins, datasheets, and customer-facing content in line with product strategy.

On-Site Support (Office & Shopfloor)

  • Supervise and document step-by-step assembly, installation, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with assembly and testing teams to validate installation and operating instructions.
  • Assist service teams by preparing troubleshooting guides and RCA documentation.

Collaboration and Content Tools

  • Work closely with engineering, service, and marketing teams to ensure content accuracy and consistency.
  • Utilize 3D modeling software to generate technical diagrams, illustrations, and visual assets for documentation.
  • Support internal knowledge transfer by preparing and updating training materials and presentations.

  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.

  • Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Any relevant field
