Industrial Complex, Riyadh
The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.
Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.
The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.
Job Purpose
Oversee the production processes of electrical products within a manufacturing facility. Ensure the efficient and timely production of high-quality electrical products, meeting safety standards and production targets.
Functional Responsibilities
Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure a smooth production flow.
- Optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to set and maintain quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
Team Management:
- Lead and supervise production teams, including operators, technicians, and support staff.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Resource Management:
- Manage the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor and control production costs to ensure optimal use of resources.
- Implement strategies for resource conservation and waste reduction.
Health and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the manufacturing facility.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures to create a secure working environment.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions for production staff.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline production workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to implement technological advancements.
Communication and Coordination:
- Facilitate communication between different departments, such as engineering, procurement, and quality assurance.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on production status, challenges, and opportunities.
- Address and resolve issues that may impact production timelines.
Cost Control and Budgeting:
- Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Identify areas for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
- Analyze production costs and implement strategies for cost reduction.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the electrical products manufacturing industry.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Work with regulatory bodies for certifications and approvals.
