Industrial Complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

Lead and oversee the sales activities related to projects. Identifying and pursuing project-based sales opportunities, managing a sales team, and ensuring the successful execution of projects from a sales perspective. Drive revenue growth through effective project sales strategies, customer relationship management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, ultimately contributing to the successful completion of projects and meeting sales targets.

Key Accountability Areas

Project Management:

  • Manage all assigned projects with the assistance of Project Engineer and Design Department.
  • Plan all actions and follow-up on quality of execution, contract deliveries, customer inspections, target deliveries, and invoicing commitments.
  • Manage all actions towards the effective conduct of the Weekly Progress Meeting and Project Deliverables.
  • Close follow-up for all sales force assignments.

Commercial and Financial Operations:

  • Carrying out order conclusion/acknowledgment regarding commercial, financial, and technical aspects and internal order booking directly or with assistance from the concerned team.
  • Monitor and control budget margins, aiming to improve or maintain booked margins.
  • Collecting/managing dues, BGs (Bank Guarantees), LCs (Letter of Credit) in coordination with Sales and Finance.
  • Ensure the booked Sales Orders are according to the company policy and approve the projects' SAP entries and registrations.

Coordination and Documentation:

  • Coordinating with the Technical/Design department.
  • Prepare all documents necessary for the follow-up of Projects activity (Reports, Invoicing Planning, and Management Information, etc.).

  • Ability to recruit, recognize and cultivate high performers and expose them in order to create a robust second line of management.
  • Ability to recognize low performers and guide them to improve or release them.
  • Ability to treat subordinates equally without any discrimination.

  • Ensure availability of delegation of authority matrix to have sufficient delegations as per company policy.

  • Provide periodic work progress reports.
  • Responsible for monitoring and controlling budgets and expenses to achieve the optimum cost efficiency.

Organizational Development:

  • Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
  • Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deployment.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
  • Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
  • Promote the automated systems and using them fully, to spread its culture.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Business Management
