Job Purpose
Ensure that products and processes meet the established quality standards. Identify and rectify issues throughout the product development lifecycle, contributing to the overall quality improvement of the organization.
Key Accountability Areas
Quality Assurance in Quality Systems / Management:

Monitor factory quality status and take necessary actions to improve quality practices, enhancing the quality systems.

Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and risk mitigation strategies to prevent the recurrence of non-conformities (NCs).
-
Oversee quality metrics, including external quality failures, such as customer complaints and NCs.
-
Oversee supplier quality complaints and NCs.
-
Track internal and cross-plant audit NCs (both internal and external).

Review and maintain factory records in compliance with ISO and customer requirements.
Material Quality Assurance:
-
Perform on-site assessments and periodic evaluations at suppliers' premises.

Follow up on suppliers' action plans based on audit findings.
Manufacturing / Process Quality Assurance:

Execute factory quality audits according to the approved internal audit plan, focusing on customer requirements and applicable standards.

Audit manufacturing processes for compliance with handling practices, work instructions, documentation, training, and process integrity.

Record quality audit data using statistical quality control methods.

Regularly review inspection test plans, quality control plans, process flows, and work instructions.

Prepare reports and graphs for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Issue warranty letters, certificates of conformance, and certificates of origin.

Maintain processes for identifying and addressing risks, ensuring proper ownership by respective business units.

Develop and manage material specification systems (Material Book).
Customer / External / Field Quality Assurance:

Act as the voice of the customer regarding product and manufacturing process quality.

Handle external quality audits and visits, coordinating the resolution of related non-conformities and identifying opportunities for improvement.

- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

- Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
Quality:
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
Business Process Improvements:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
Compliance:
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
