Industrial Complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

This position exist to take full responsibility of overall management of Quality Assurance and Control department . Plan, develop ,execute and monitor its activities and related systems by optimum resources at efficient cost. Deliver as per company quality standards. Manage the risks and opportunities to bring the department to a further step.

Key Accountability Areas

  • Coordinate the formulation and implementation of the quality assurance procedures 
  • Monitor quality trends for all process related to product quality, customer complaint analysis and provide inputs to initiate the corrective and preventive action. 
  • Monitor the effectiveness of corrective and preventive action taken for nonconformities and correct disposition as per procedure. 
  • Carryout customer complaint analysis and initiate corrective and preventive action and monitor. 
  • Design and planning for procurement, repair, and calibration of gauges / measuring instruments / test facilities. 
  • Liaise with external inspection agencies as and when required. 
  • Monitor Process and product audits, internal audit and type test of products are carryout in planned intervals. 
  • Communicate with supplier/purchase for Nonconformity material and corrective action.
  • Responsible for Incoming Inspection, in process Inspection, Finished Goods Inspection, Customer Complaint, SQA, Product Testing, calibration, new part Development Process and Maintain Quality Management System (QMS) certification, 
  • In-coming Inspection Activity: Responsible for Preparing Incoming inspection procedure & control plan as per the latest drawing revision, ensuring required gauges and Instruments are made available for the Incoming Inspection at the point of use. Also ensuring the Corrective & Preventive actions are taken at dealers' premises to close the non-conformities. Arranging to send back the rejections to the suppliers. Liaison with the Insurance agencies for any kind of claims for the transit damages. Communication to supplier for Nonconformities.
  • Identifyee of Accepted & Rejected materials in the store's location as well preparation of the Incoming dimensional inspection report. Verification of supplier inspection report & Raw material test reports. Cross Functional Team reporting to the Stores Officer & Purchase Engineer.
  • In-process Inspection Activity: Responsible for Preparing In-process inspection procedure & control plan as per the latest drawing revision, Ensuring required gauges and Instruments are made available for the In-process inspection at the point of use. Preparing In process check sheet. Ensuring in-process audits are carried out periodically.
  • Finished Goods Inspection Activity: Responsible for Preparing Finished Goods inspection procedure & control plan as per the latest drawing revision, ensuring required gauges and Instruments are made available for the FG inspection at the point of use. Preparing FG audit check sheet. Ensuring FG audits are carried out periodically.
  • Customer Complaint: Responsible for Preparing customer complaint resolution process procedure & Preparing Root cause analysis report with recommended corrective & preventive action reports. Visiting customers on behalf of Alfanar:
  • Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA): Responsible for Part / Service approval process for new development products / Process / Supplier. Preparing SIR’s and control plan for new development parts / Process. Supplier approval and re approval process with supplier audits in scheduled interval. Developing the new fixtures, equipment’s and testing facilities for new products.
  • Product Testing: Responsible for conducting the Routine / Non-Routine test on the MCB, MCCB & ACB product & Accessories as per IEC standard requirements. Preparing product audit plan and executing the product audit as per plan. As well analyzing the Failure test report. 
  • Calibrations: Ensure for the periodic calibration of Instruments & equipment as well maintaining the calibration record with traceability. Also responsible for in house Mechanical & Electrical calibration of the instruments & equipment’s.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
