Reporting Specialist

Job Purpose

Develops standardized reports and dashboards, ensures data accuracy and consistency, and provides insights to support informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Accountability Areas

Reporting Development and Design:

  • Develop and review standardized reports to meet organizational and stakeholder requirements.
  • Determine appropriate tools, formats, and methods for effective data presentation.
  • Design dashboards and reporting templates to ensure clarity and usability.
  • Continuously enhance reporting structures to improve efficiency and decision support.

Data Collection Methodology and Design:

  • Define and standardize methods for collecting qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Design data collection forms, templates, and input mechanisms.
  • Ensure data collection approaches align with reporting and analytical needs.
  • Educate users and stakeholders on proper completion and usage of data collection tools.

Data Governance and Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and maintain data governance standards in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Define data baselines, rules, and validation criteria.
  • Collect, review, and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Implement quality assurance checks to maintain data integrity across reports.

Dashboard and Report Consolidation:

  • Compile and consolidate dashboard reports across all departments.
  • Ensure consistency of reporting outputs across business units.
  • Monitor and validate data integration from multiple sources.
  • Ensure dashboards provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights.

Reporting Insights and Decision Support:

  • Analyze reporting outputs to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare reports with actionable recommendations for system and process improvements.
  • Provide analytical support to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Advise stakeholders on effective use of reports to enhance organizational performance.

Role Accountability

HR Proficiency:

  • Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

Delivery:

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

  • Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Systems Analysis & Engineering or Any relevant field
