SAP MM Functional Consultant

Job Purpose
To support SAP MM/WM/LE implementation and configuration by aligning business processes with SAP solutions, assisting in procurement and inventory functions, and providing ongoing system support and documentation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Accountability Areas
SAP Configuration & Implementation:
- Independently configure enterprise structure, purchasing processes, and plant parameters in SAP.
- Map and analyze business processes, translating them into SAP To-Be solutions aligned with legacy system integrations.
- Lead configuration efforts during SAP Greenfield and brownfield implementation projects, particularly in sourcing and procurement.
Functional Expertise in MM/WM/IM/LE:
- Design and configure procurement operations including Purchase Orders, Subcontracting, Pricing Procedures, Automatic Account Determination, and MRP.
- Manage inventory processes such as Goods Receipts, Goods Issues, Transfer Postings, Stock Transfers, and Physical Inventory.
- Customize release strategies for PRs, POs, Contracts, and Service Orders in manufacturing environments.
Integration & SAP Tools:
- Utilize SAP tools like IDoc, BAPI, BDC, LSMW, and FIORI apps for integration, data migration, and process automation.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop and test interfaces and integration points.
Project Management & Collaboration:
- Participate actively in requirement gathering, blueprinting, solution design, testing, training, and go-live support.
- Liaise with business analysts, developers, and other SAP consultants to ensure end-to-end process alignment and project success.
- Mentor junior consultants and support team members.
Training & Documentation:
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to end users.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, business processes, and support procedures.
Functional Specifications & Solution Delivery:
- Gather detailed business requirements and develop Functional Specifications for RICEF objects.
- Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams during design workshops and testing cycles.

- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Information Mgmt. Sciences & Systems or Any relevant field
