SAP QM/PM Functional Consutant

Job Purpose

Manage the design, implementation, and support of SAP QM/PM/EAM modules, ensuring integration with other SAP systems. Oversee project life cycles, develop quality control processes, and optimize maintenance through SAP PM/EAM integration. Additionally, customize SAP QM, drive continuous improvement, maintain documentation, and handle vendor management, including quality rejections and certifications.

Key Accountability Areas

SAP Quality Management:

  • Contributing to the design, implementation, and support of SAP QM/PM/EAM modules.
  • Ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems.

Project Management:

  • Overseeing full project life cycles, from initial planning to go-live support.
  • Involvement in requirements gathering, testing, training, and post-launch activities.

Quality Control Processes:

  • Developing and implementing quality control processes within SAP QM.
  • Ensuring processes meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Integration with SAP PM/EAM:

  • Ensuring smooth integration between SAP QM and SAP PM/EAM modules.
  • Optimizing maintenance and asset management processes.

Customization and Configuration:

  • Customizing and configuring the SAP QM module based on business requirements.
  • Ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness through tailored solutions.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
  • Implementing best practices within the SAP environment.

Documentation:

  • Maintaining detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and customizations.
  • Providing a reference for troubleshooting and future enhancements.

Vendor Management:

  • Worked on deadline monitoring, vendor analysis, and QM in procurement.
  • Engaged in vendor approval processes, quality rejections, and certificate of analysis.

Role Accountability

  • Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

Delivery:

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

  • Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvement:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Information Mgmt. Sciences & Systems or Any relevant field
