Job Purpose
This position exists to install and execute IT plans, monitor progress and facilitate management oversight tasks efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments within wider scope.
Key Accountability Areas
Drive Development & Monitor Execution of Business Plan:
- Support GIT management in gathering needed info / data to make situational / gap analysis (externally or internally)
- Support defining objectives, KPIs and initiatives which should link with their strategic plan
- Define and monitor GIT critical issues
- Manage initiative’s planning & execution including IT security, cyber security & cloud service.
- Organize follow-up on annual IT risk assessment by organizing sessions with users / dept. and ensure agreed upon action plan (risk register) are included in diff. dept. plans and follow-up execution
- Continuous observation to identify new opportunities or risk for continuous improvement to keep business plan always up to date.
- Organize internal audit observations to be included in dept. plans and follow-up execution
Performance Reporting & Operation Reviews:
- Support GIT management in preparation of operation review document and gathering of needed inputs
- Monitor Plan Execution, link them with KPIs and Report Results Regularly
- Ensure all required action from management during ORMs are followed-up and executed
- Close monitoring to critical issue and report progress
- Prepare any needed reports on ad-hoc base according to management request
- Monitor customer satisfaction development over time through survey results and meeting, and work with GIT to define and execute needed initiatives
- Develop reporting tools and inquiries to enable extract any needed report / analysis on the spot for all GIT services / process
Management of Committees and Working Groups:
- Establish committees and working groups according to business needs following alfanar standard governance practices
- Activation of established committees and working groups through proper organization of their meetings / gathering and proper preparation of agenda and documentation of MoM and supporting / following-up agreed upon action to be executed and closed.
Other:
- Coordinate between Procurement and GIT to prepare annual purchase plans including license & vendor management
- Ensure proper security activities are planned & executed (awareness, training, etc).
- Drive preparation of GIT procurement plans and assets analysis
- Ensure monitoring of proper governance for GIT activities related to company expansion, acquisition or merger
- Play an active role in IT business continuity management (planning, testing & reporting)
- Play liaison channel between support functions for GIT and GIT e.g. Audit, Systems, etc. in needed information and alignments.
- Ensure proper activities are in place for IT stock management
