SR. Quality Control Engineer, High Voltage Direct Current | alfanar Electric

Job Purpose

Ensure high quality production by implementing quality control measures, conducting inspections, and collaborating with teams. Optimize quality management systems, resolve non-conformities

Key Accountability Areas

Inspection and Testing Coordination

  • Plan and organize in-process, final inspection, and testing activities for HVDC projects.
  • Verify completed inspection and test reports for accuracy.
  • Prepare project-specific inspection and test reports for HVDC systems.

Technical Expertise and Support

  • Provide technical expertise in programming and testing of HVDC systems, including PLC, synchronization, ATS, soft starter panels, etc.
  • Support and guide the team in their technical contributions.

Project Execution Coordination

  • Coordinate with project teams and other departments to ensure the successful execution of HVDC projects.
  • Manage third-party agencies and customers for factory inspections of HVDC systems.

Quality Control

  • Address non-conforming products by raising punch lists/NCRs and ensure timely completion.
  • Work with departments to finalize customer feedback and release products promptly for HVDC projects.

Role Accountability

HR Proficiency:

  • Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
  • Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
  • Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.

Delivery:

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

  • Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

6 to 10 Years
