Job Purpose

Oversee and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards for the successful and timely delivery of high-quality products.

Key Accountability Areas

Planning and Coordination:

  • Meticulously plan and coordinate daily production processes to ensure consistent generation of high-quality products.

Engineering Support:

  • Provide essential engineering support, particularly in production and maintenance, to maximize overall production efficiency.

Process Improvement and Optimization:

  • Actively pursue initiatives to develop and implement process improvements, with a focus on enhancing equipment and material utilization for optimized production output.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluation of current production activities, making recommendations for improvements to refine and enhance operational processes.
  • Execute cost reduction initiatives with precision, always mindful of upholding stringent quality standards.

Documentation and Training:

  • Meticulously develop comprehensive operating instructions and equipment specifications to guide and standardize production activities.
  • Provide team members with requisite training and guidance to empower them to achieve specified production goals.
  • Maintain a commitment to staying current with product specifications, engineering technology, and evolving production processes.

Best Practices and Problem Resolution:

  • Invest continuous efforts in developing and refining best practices to enhance production capacity, quality, and overall reliability.
  • Adopt a systematic approach for investigating and resolving problems, including thorough investigation, root cause analysis, and derivation of effective solutions.

Inventory and 5S Implementation:

  • Rigorously control and monitor Production Work in Progress (WIP) and sub-store inventory to ensure optimal inventory management.
  • Coordinate the implementation of 5S processes and procedures in conjunction with the safety in-charge to enhance overall workplace organization and efficiency.

Policy Adherence:

  • Maintain a steadfast commitment to ensuring the implementation of manufacturing policies and standard procedures for production, fostering a structured and compliant operational environment.

Role Accountability

HR Proficiency:

  • Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
  • Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
  • Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.

Delivery:

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

  • Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

6 to 10 Years
