SR.ENGINEER, QC APPLICATIONS

Job Purpose
Ensure that our products/services meet the highest quality standards. Developing and implementing QC processes to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our software applications and IT systems. Developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to improve software quality.
Key Accountability Areas
Software Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated).
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
- Identify, track, and report software defects, ensuring they are resolved efficiently.
- Ensure software meets business and technical requirements before deployment.
Automation & Process Improvement:
- Implement test automation strategies and frameworks for efficiency.
- Use automated testing tools for API, UI, and performance testing.
- Continuously improve QC processes, testing methodologies, and best practices.
- Advocate for quality engineering principles across development teams.
Collaboration & Compliance:
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to define testing requirements.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior testers and assist in knowledge sharing.

- Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

- Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
Quality:
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
Business Process Improvement:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
Compliance:
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Any relevant field
