Job Purpose
Leading, directing, and overseeing all architectural works on site to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. Validate that construction activities comply with approved drawings, materials, codes, and client requirements while providing technical guidance, resolving complex issues, and driving successful project delivery.
Key Accountability Areas
Project Execution & Supervision:
- Lead and oversee architectural construction activities to ensure strict adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Validate the quality, accuracy, and compliance of works against international standards and client expectations.
- Direct and manage subcontractors and site teams to achieve timely and efficient execution.
Coordination & Communication:
- Drive coordination of architectural works with structural, civil, MEP, and finishing disciplines to prevent conflicts and ensure seamless integration.
- Represent the architectural discipline in meetings with project managers, consultants, and clients, providing authoritative technical input and recommendations.
- Present progress, highlight risks, and propose proactive solutions during site and coordination meetings.
Technical & Quality Control:
- Approve and validate shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals related to architectural works.
- Ensure flawless execution of architectural details, finishes, and high-end specifications in line with the design intent.
- Establish and enforce quality benchmarks for architectural and finishing works.
Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution:
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve complex architectural and finishing challenges in collaboration with consultants and design teams.
- Provide senior-level technical guidance and approve alternative design/construction solutions that maintain quality, cost efficiency, and schedule adherence.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Review and endorse detailed records of inspections, testing, and site activities for architectural works.
- Authorize comprehensive progress and quality reports for submission to management and clients.
- Oversee the preparation and approval of handover documentation, including as-built drawings and completion certificates.
Resource & Material Management:
- Approve material requisitions and ensure timely delivery of architectural and finishing materials in alignment with project schedules.
- Oversee proper storage, handling, and installation of specialized materials in compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
