SR.SPECIALIST, COMMERCIAL

Job Purpose

This position exists to prepare L/Cs and managing/maintaining L/Cs and B/Gs for the POs efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Key Accountability Areas

  • Maintaining complete status of all letter of credits (established/to be established) and Bank guarantees (received/not received) and update the same on daily basis.
  • Responsible for drafting LCs by coordinating his immediate manager, treasury, Project Manager office & Supplier.
  • Responsible for obtaining B/Gs from supplier as per PO terms and conditions.
  • Responsible to enter the L/C & B/G data in the system.  
  • Responsible to keep liaison with treasury department for opening L/C.
  • Responsible to keep liaison with treasury department for extension/release of B/G.
  • Responsible for monitoring expiry of L/C and BGs and initiate appropriate action in timely fashion.
  • Maintain up to date filing of L/C including L/C transmission copy obtained from bank through treasury.
  • Maintain up to date filing of B/Gs including B/G extension/release notification obtained from bank through treasury.
  • Responsible for preparing letters and other correspondence related to L/Cs & B/Gs.
  • Responsible to maintain documentation requirement of periodical ISO audits pertaining to his domain of responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Any relevant field
