SR.SPECIALIST, FINANCIAL REPORTING

Job Purpose

To maintain accurate financial reports, conduct variance analysis, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and support month-end closing and audits, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.

Key Accountability Areas

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Generate and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Analyze financial data to uncover trends and evaluate performance metrics.

Variance & Performance Analysis:

  • Perform variance analysis by comparing actual results with budgeted figures, providing insights into performance and identifying areas for improvement.

Budgeting & Forecasting Support:

  • Assist in the development of financial forecasts and contribute to monthly plan updates, ensuring they align with organizational objectives.

Division-Level Reporting:

  • Produce financial reports specific to different divisions, providing a clear and detailed overview of performance across various business areas.

Month-End Closing & Audit Assistance:

  • Calculate and verify month-end results, ensuring the completeness of reports, and provide support during audit processes by preparing necessary documentation.

Role Accountability

HR Proficiency:

  • Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

Delivery:

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

  • Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvement:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance or Any relevant field

4 to 6 Years
