SR.SPECIALIST, PRE-AUTHORIZATION

Job Purpose

Ensures roles, user access, and T-codes align with business needs, security, and compliance standards. Involves testing authorization requests, mitigating access risks, and improving Segregation of Duties (SoD) with business units. Collaborates with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve complex issues, drive project success, and maintain documentation for compliance and audits.

Key Accountability Areas

Roles and T-codes Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of roles and T-codes to develop optimal role assignments aligned with business requirements, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and robust Authorization Control.
  • Evaluate and test authorization requests for system changes to ensure compliance with business requirements, integrating segregation of duties (SoD) principles and necessary restrictions to mitigate risk.
  • Provide quick response support for unexpected authorization-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption and quick resolution.

Business Improvement:

  • Innovate and propose new solutions to enhance the effectiveness of Segregation of Duties (SoD), applying necessary restrictions and controls to strengthen security and compliance within the system.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to authorization processes that drive efficiency, security, and risk mitigation for the organization.

Customer Relations:

  • Collaborate closely with internal business teams to understand their needs, continuously improve authorization workflows, and ensure system optimizations contribute to achieving organizational goals and efficiency.

Vendor Coordination:

  • Facilitate coordination with external vendors and service providers to ensure smooth execution of projects, timely delivery, and adherence to deadlines, aligning vendor solutions with the company’s security and authorization standards.

Documentation:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for Role Catalogs, ensuring all required roles, T-codes, and security regulations are clearly defined and approved.
  • Regularly update documentation to reflect any changes in roles, regulations, or compliance standards.

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Any relevant field
